JEANNINE HALE, Managing Director

Jeannine Hale

Jeannine was born in Louisville, KY and grew up in Ohio where she graduated from Westerville High School. Wanting to return to Kentucky, she attended the University of Louisville where she studied political science focusing on law school. After college, Jeannine took a position at the Third National Bank and worked her way up to head teller where she supervised many tellers and managed large sums of money. She handled short term loans, 90 day notes, internal audits and internal investigations for theft and fraud.

The Capitol Hill Branch was located behind the Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD), where I assisted several Police Department employees with their banking needs. Two of her favorite customers worked with the MNPD and pushed for her to join.

On January 1, 1985 Jeannine entered the MNPD Academy. At the blink of an eye she has now completed 33 years and served in many different capacities. She worked in patrol before being selected for the Directed Patrol Unit. Jeannine developed the first Excel spreadsheet program and received the Efficiency Award. In 1995, she attended Crime Analysis Training and became the first Crime Analysis Officer for Patrol and used the training to track criminal activity in the East Precinct along with mapping to help utilize manpower efficiently.

In 2005, Jeannine was selected to become a Precinct Detective. During this intensive transition period, she attended numerous schools and training classes from the Reid interview school, CVSA (Computer Voice Stress Analyzer) to Blood Splatter classes; as Precinct Detectives responded to all types of criminal activity.

For the remainder of her police career Jeannine maintained her Detective position at East Precinct. As a Senior Detective, she helped train new personnel in all situations from autopsies to courtroom testimony. Detectives work all cases from Misdemeanor Theft to Homicide and everything in-between. Some of Jeannine’s favorite cases included residential burglary, overdose deaths, theft and fraud cases.

Jeannine has been active with the Fraternal Order of Police her entire career and even retirement and has served on the Board of Directors for over 28 years. She has also dedicated an enormous amount of time to the Police Youth Camp. For 20 years, Jeannine was a director of the girls’ camp, where she supervised 12 female officers who mentored more than 60 underprivileged children from the Nashville community each year.

Jeannine has been blessed over her career, married for 31 years to a wonderful man who is also retired from Law Enforcement, and has three amazing children. Marquie, an attorney; married to Robert who is retired from the MNPD, Chase, a K9 officer with the MNPD; married to Kristin who works in insurance and Shelby, a student at Nashville School of Law and Closing Clerk at a Law Office in Nashville.

After retiring from the MNPD, Jeannine realized that she truly missed working the puzzle, gathering evidence, and following the clues to determine the truth. This relentless determination led her to Covert Results, LLC, a private investigations, professional security, and training company.
